How many centres do you have? Where are they located? What is the infrastructure and learning environment provided?Currently, we are operating from one centre located at Kabir Road, Southern Avenue. It’s about 500 m from both Kalighat and Rabindra Sarobar metro stations and 200 m from Tollygunge PS, Mudiali and Southern Avenue Swimming Pool bus stops.

What’s the fee structure? Are there any discounts and refund policy?The fee structure is different for different courses. Each can be found in the respective course pages. Discounts are provided based on the discretion of the management team at certain times of the year on certain occasions. For all kinds of product/service/course/courses, whether online or offline, refund of the course fees will be allowed before 15 days from the first class attended or before 15 days from the date of payment of course fees, whichever is earlier. What modes can I use for paying the fees?You can pay the fees through cheques, cash, bank transfer or UPI.

Can I pay the fees in installments?Fees for certain courses can be paid in two installments as per the policy of Study Break Academy. This is, however, at the discretion of the management of Study Break Academy.

What Is the qualification and experience of your faculty?The faculty members of Study Break Academy come from JNTU, Hyderabad, NIT Silchar, NIT Jaipur, NIT Surat, IIT Kharagpur, MDI Gurgaon, and IIM Calcutta. They have more than 100 years of experience cumulatively. It ranges from 11 to 21 years for the full-time faculty members and much more for visiting faculty members. Are the faculty members friendly? Do they address your queries beyond office timings?The faculty members of Study Break Academy are very friendly and approachable, but very disciplined when it comes to studies. Yes, they address your queries beyond office timings and sometimes at unearthly hours too.

Do you offer demo or trial class before joining?Yes, we provide one or two demo classes to help you make an educated decision. These classes are live interaction with faculty and unlike pre-recorded demo sessions provided by other institutions.

What is your teaching pattern?We start with the basics to develop your base and cement it with regular assignments and doubt clearing sessions. Frequent surprise tests, sectional tests and mock tests and their analyses prepare you for test circumstances.

Does Study Break Academy provide quality study material and have a library?Yes, Study Break Academy provides quality study materials, which are a blend of what has come in the major admission tests in the last 5 years and what is expected to come in the following years based on the experience of our faculty members.

Do you provide backup sessions if students miss any classes?Yes. Backup sessions are provided both in newer batches when the same class is conducted in it and individually, as per feasibility. However, taking backup sessions as a habit is not encouraged.

Is there a rigid attendance system to ensure students attend diligently? Is rescheduling possible in case one session is missed?Yes. It is always endeavored to ensure attendance. However, in case of genuine emergencies, backup sessions are provided to students. No class is rescheduled as other students also attend the same class.

What’s the teacher-student ratio or batch strength? Will you attend to me personally?The teacher-student ratio is generally between 1:8 to 1:15. Yes. There’s a provision to attend to students personally too.

Do you have any tie-ups with educational institutions?Yes. We do have tie-ups with many Educational Institutions.

What is the teaching pattern – regular classes, interactive sessions? Are there practicals for Group Discussion (GD)/ Interviews?Classes happen regularly in the form of interactive sessions both offline and online. Yes, GWPI sessions consist of mock GD’s and mock PI’s.

What is your feedback structure?Students are given feedback directly if anything is found amiss. In case, the problem is not sorted, the guardian or the parent of the students are communicated with.

How do you evaluate student performances?Student performances are evaluated based on their results in the various tests conducted by Study Break Academy.

Can I request for home counselling visits for clearing doubts?No. We do not entertain home visits. However, online counselling sessions can be availed.
